Welcome to the Pontefract Slot Car Club Home Page. At Pontefract we race the following classes: 1/24th scale Flexi-Kar (Saloon Bodies & Parma 16D motors), BSCRA 1/32nd Saloon, Falcon Powered Formula 1, 1/32nd Production and 1/24th Group 12 (Ceramic single magnets and 0.513" armatures only). Our club night is Monday from 7.30 until 10.30 pm. Our track is a 133 foot four lane figure of eight design with a variety of different bends and gradients to provide a real driving challenge. Lane colours are Red, Blue, Green and Yellow. On September 17th and 18th 2005 we held round 3 of the British Open Championship. The very best drivers from all over the UK will be took part. In January, we hosted a round of the BSCRA Area 3 championship. All the best drivers from North East England were there. In February, we hosted round 1 of the British Slotracing League. The meeting was well attended and club members will take part in the remaining rounds of the series.
